"We had an amazing experience working with Liz to cater our wedding at the Big Yellow Barn this summer. We planned from out of town and Liz was very responsive via email and phone to work out the details. I wanted to keep it simple but elegant and the menu Liz proposed for the buffet was perfect. My mom and a friend who live in town did the tasting with Liz and we hardly changed a thing because it was all delicious. On the day of, Liz and her staff were very attentive, professional, and relaxed and made sure both the groom and I got the passed appetizers and drinks (and they weren't even the bartenders). They also made sure the band got their food and drink and were able to relax before getting the party started. Liz and her staff went above and beyond and it was a bit like having a day of coordinator and caterer all in one. I can't imagine anything having gone better and both the groom and I were able to just enjoy our people and the evening. I also went through Liz to get linens and had her make some quiches for brunch the next day which she DELIVERED. She and her staff are pros and all you need to do is make a few decisions and let them do their jobs, which they do perfectly."

"We hosted a Rehearsal Dinner at the 1915 Barn for 80 people and Liz and her staff did a beautiful job with the food and catering. The staff is very professional and friendly. The presentation and discreetness was done very well. To say the food was amazing would be an understatement. The next day at the wedding the people were still talking about how good the food was. I would recommend the ribs and the mac and cheese. It was all good, but those were standouts for sure. The pies were a delicious end to the meal."

"As an out of town bride you are always a little nervous about what you're going to find when you arrive at your big day. Chef Liz could not have made it any easier for me! We spoke over email, phone and once in person 4 months before my actual wedding. I chose her without tasting any of her food, I just knew from speaking with her that she would be amazing. She catered both my rehearsal dinner and my wedding. My guests raved about her food! If you have her cater for you order the scalloped potatoes, they were so good my husband told our guests in his wedding dinner speech that they made him even more emotional than he already was. :) Everything I asked of her she executed perfectly, and when you spend a year planning your wedding, to see perfection is a dream come true. She worked with me to stay within my budget as well, which I greatly appreciated. She also picked up my beer kegs, chilled my wine and picked up some things from Montana Party Rental for me which was HUGE! "Liz and her staff we so amazing!! She worked with us to get the perfect menu and was able to incorporate a family recipe. We arranged to have salmon flown down from Alaska for one of our main courses (I'm originally from there), and she was so accommodating and easy to get in touch with throughout the process. My guests loved her staff, especially the bartenders. At the end of the night, her staff went the extra mile and helped my coordinator pack everything up so it was ready to go the next day and all we had to do was load it into our cars; no cleanup necessary at all. Our guests came from around the world--several of them are pretty particular when it comes to food--and they all raved about the quality of our meal. I was very impressed, especially given she traveled from Bozeman to outside of Helena and did not have a full kitchen to work with at our venue. Definitely order the Mac and Cheese--it was my favorite. And word on the street is she will be working with our salmon guy for future events--you can't get better than Copper River sockeye straight from the source. Thank you Liz!"

"This catering team went above and beyond for our wedding. It goes without saying that the food was fabulous and exactly what we ordered. What really impressed me was all the little things they did to go above and beyond without us even asking. First, they re-arranged a couple of decorations on the dessert, bar, and dinner tables to look a zillion times better than when we had set them up earlier. Then they specially served our several gluten free guests each a slice of flourless chocolate torte that we had brought in at the last minute because they couldn't have our cupcakes. Everything went so smoothly and couldn't have been more perfect!"

"Liz and the rest at Just a Taste were amazing and easy to work with. We opted for the BBQ and all of the guests raved about every food item from the apps, to the brisket, to the corn bread. Cooking brisket is hard enough, let alone for a catered wedding on a ranch, but they knocked it out of the park! In addition to the food, the service was impeccable from the passed appetizers to the bar staff. Really a top notch operation. They didn't even mind driving all the way from Bozeman to Helena to cater our event! Upon wedding ending, the staff quickly put remaining food/drinks in storage in a organized fashioned making clean up a breeze. I couldn't imagine a better food vendor for our wedding. -Peter & Gina"

"A five star review is not enough! First off, the food was amazing. We tasted food from a few different caterer's, and Just A Taste was the best by far. We loved the food so much we decided to book Liz and her crew for the rehearsal dinner along with the reception. Our wedding was a couple weekends ago (7/14/18) and the food was talked about by everyone. So if you are looking for outstanding food, then this is your caterer. Now that we have reviewed how great the food was, I want to talk about Liz herself. I can't believe how easy and amazing she was to work with. She really went above and beyond. She helped organizing everyone from the plates and silverware, to the ice and table decorations. She really helped us plan a lot of aspects other than just the catering. Her and her staff are truly awesome, and were the best venders we worked with during the whole wedding process. If you are looking for someone that is very friendly, easy going, professional, and all around an awesome person, Liz is your lady!"

"Just a Taste did such a beautiful job with my wedding catering! My guests couldn't believe we weren't eating at a Five Star Restaurant! We decided to go with their Elegant Menu! The Bison tenderloin (HOW MONTANA!!!) received so many complements from my guests and people couldn't stop talking about the Baby Rack of Lamb! They even offered vegetarian options for my guests from out of state! The ladies serving the food were so happy to be there and polite! I couldn't have asked for anything more from my caterer. If you are getting married in Montana, use Just A Taste!"
